Hollywood Cheek
Having a slim face with clear lines is a look that most people dream of. Sometimes, even if the person is thin, the face and cheek structure can make the person look overweight. With this surgery, it is possible to shape the face by removing the excess fat tissue in the cheek area without any visible traces from the outside.
Hollywood Cheek, also known as buccal fat removal, is a cosmetic surgery procedure that involves the removal of excess fat tissue from the cheek area. This procedure is performed through small incisions made inside the mouth, leaving no visible scars on the outside.
The excess fat tissue in the cheek area can make the face appear rounder and fuller, even if the person is at a healthy weight. By removing this fat tissue, the face can be reshaped and contoured, creating a slimmer and more defined appearance.
The Hollywood Cheek procedure is generally performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia, and the recovery time is relatively short compared to other cosmetic surgeries. Patients can return to work and normal activities within a few days, although some swelling and bruising may persist for a few weeks.
As with any surgical procedure, there are risks and potential complications associated with the Hollywood Cheek surgery, including bleeding, infection, and nerve damage. Patients should carefully consider the potential risks and benefits of this procedure before deciding to undergo surgery.

In such a case, he/she should inform his/her doctor about all the drugs he/she uses before the operation. Pregnant women or people with serious health problems should consult a doctor before deciding on this surgery.
During The Surgery
It is an outpatient type of surgery. Also known as cheek thinning aesthetics. It is a type of surgery performed with local anesthesia. It is very important to pay attention to oral hygiene before the operation. Cleaning before the surgery will help reduce the infection problems that may occur.
After applying local anesthesia to the patient, the doctor makes a small incision in the cheek. And with forceps it removes bichat (fatty tissue) bags to give it a natural look. After the fat bags are removed, the surgeon sutures the wound. This procedure is applied to both cheeks. When the surgery is over, the surgeon puts on a compressive bandage. The entire operation takes between 30 and 45 minutes on average. Then the patient is discharged on the same day.
After The Surgery
The recovery process of each patient may differ after the surgery. But in general, recovery is observed in people in the 14-day period after the operation. During the first three days after the surgery, consuming soft foods and cold drinks will also prevent possible bleeding. It is also recommended that people not be exposed to the sun.
In case of possible inflammation after the operation, it will disappear for 3 to 6 months. Possible inflammation usually takes place in the lower jaw part of the face. With this surgery, the cheekbones on the face become more prominent. In addition, a longer appearance is given to the face.
